About our School

We are a team of internationally titled yoga lovers. The learning method Samashti Yoga School focuses on learning throught experience feeling what realy happens in our body, through the practice of Dynamic and Hatha Yoga.

FACILITADOR – COACH, HATHA YOGA TEACHER

I have 18 years working as a facilitator and coach with various multinational companies in Spain, currently living in Thailand where I set my residence temporarily, to keep learning and developing my practice of yoga and meditation techniques in vipassana.

Currently I am developing my work from a more holistic perspective, integrating techniques and activities that allow us to reach more deeply into our own knowledge and truth, of who we are and want, for our lifes. Working with the body through yoga, games, meditation and nature sports that connect us with nature.

I consider myself a designer of experiences, I discover, mix, combine, enriching experiences. I believe in the transformative power of action and work with our body, and from there generate new learning experiences. I am creative and always research and try to bring the best experience to people with whom I work.

Mercedes Abaitua Odriozola

MASTER YOGA TEACHER IN DYNAMIC AND HATHA YOGA

I’ve been since 20 years in the world of fitness and movement pedagogy as a teacher. I was the pioneer in introducing in Spain aerobics and pilates and fitness disciplines, after learning in New York.

My professional evolution took me to train as a teacher, at the International Yoga School of Madrid for 2 years.

Then continued my training with Godfrey Devereux, specializing in Dynamic Yoga. My interest in yoga hasled me to form in other specializations such as Bikram and Ashtanga Yoga.

I teached and shared the pedagogy of Yoga, for over 7 years and every time I am more convinced, of the power of profound change that yoga has on the physical, mental and spiritual level.

HATHA YOGA

Learning to practice Hatha yoga with integrity is basic and fundamental to be a healthy, our practice is supported by dynamic integrity so we recover the neuromuscular patterns that have been lost over the years and discover with delight how stable and nutritious the practice can be. Helping us to stay healthy, young and energetic for a lifetime with constant practice.

DINAMIC YOGA

Dinamic Yoga was created by Master Godfrey Devereux, the benefits of yoga increase our sensitivity in our practice, leading the body to re-establish new patterns through repetition. We become more conscious of our body and readjust bad habits and stressful practices. With patience and sensitivity we leave the intelligence of our body, to guide us trought the practice, leaving our mind relegated to the fellings of our body, humility and surrender.
